Hello Families!


We have been patiently awaiting guidance on resuming patient care and are excited that the time has come! We will begin patient care again on May 4th and are reaching out to all our patients who have contacted us with emergency needs or who have missed their visits due to the mandated closure.


We are strictly following guidelines from the CDC, Ohio Department of Heath, and the American Dental Association. We have created updated office policies to help keep your families and our team safe during this prolonged time of unknown. We kindly ask for your assistance in adhering to the requirements set forth by our governing bodies, which are outlined below.


Arriving at the Office


We have been required to close our waiting room at this time. Your car will be your waiting area while your child is being seen. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your child's appointment and call the office when you arrive. A team member will meet you at your car for a health screening, paperwork, and review of your child's appointment.


Appointment Guidelines


We love seeing your families and friends in our office, but at this time we are required to limit visitors. We strongly encourage you to allow our team to accompany your child inside for their appointment. If your child requires assistance or you feel that is is necessary to accompany your child inside for their preventive care visit (cleaning), please understand that we can only allow ONE parent/guardian to accompany the patient(s) and they must provide their own mask. There are no other parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, etc. allowed in the office. There are no exceptions to these rules from the Ohio Department of Health.




A team member will complete a verbal questionnaire upon your arrival. While your child is being seen, you will receive a phone call to schedule your child's next appointment and to collect any balance due.


In addition to our normal review, our team will be providing a written assessment of your child's oral health after their preventive care visit or a written post-operative instruction sheet if they received other dental treatment that day. If you prefer an emailed copy, please let us know when you arrive.


Phone Calls


If your child's appointment was postponed due to the COVID closure or you called our emergency line, we will contact you this week to reschedule. Due to higher than normal call volumes, please be aware that our response time to your voicemail/email may be increased.


Cleaning Protocol


We have always exceeded the requirements for disinfection and sterilization in a dental office and we won't stop now! We will go above and beyond to keep everyone safe! Please feel free to ask us if you have concerns.
